Workplace Design To Accommodate Cyclists

Arterior was instructed to produce a high end hotel feel shower facility within the basement carpark area of a building in Chapel Street, Liverpool for those who wish to cycle to work.

As the building has many high profile tenants,one being Liverpool FC, our task was to give the feel of superior quality whilst adhering to an agreed Budget, Arterior Solutions Ltd are proud to be an approved Porcelanosa contractor and their tiles were used in the shower facilities.

The objective was to create shower areas and a seperate WC within the basement with full M&E services. This presented some obstacles with regards to mechanical ventilation and especially drainage however our comprehensive M&E engineers along with building control managed to install a suitable mechincal ventilation system in line with Document F and also a gravity fall drainage system.

The overall finish has the feel of a top quality hotel and the facility is being enjoyed daily by cyclists.
